We began going to the Porchlight Men’s Emergency Shelter in March 2021. Since its start, a partnership with UWSMPH’s student run MEDiC clinic formed enabling its students and clinicians to volunteer with us to better help our clients! Our team at the Men’s Shelter Clinic consists of a prescriber, nurse, mental health care provider, team manager, and student learners.
Common clinic visit topics include: short term renewal of chronic medications; acute conditions of the eyes, ears, nose, teeth or throat; acute musculoskeletal injuries & pain; hypertension; upper respiratory infections; and foot care.
Vulnerable Population’s Hotel

Consistent medical outreach at the Vulnerable Population’s Hotel began in February of 2022. Before then, we would go there to provide care when necessary. With increased capacity, we will go every other week to until the Hotel close in June. Our team at the Vulnerable Population’s Hotel consists of a prescriber, nurse, mental health care provider, and team manager.
Medicine at the Beacon

In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we offered telemedicine at the Beacon starting in July 2020. Since then, it has evolved into an in-person clinic visit. Our team at the Beacon includes a prescriber and nurse and/or team manager.
Common clinic visit topics include: short term renewal of chronic medications; acute conditions of the eyes, ears, nose, teeth or throat; musculoskeletal injuries & pain; and help establishing a PCP & making an appointment.
